Philipp Timischl (b. 1989, Graz) is an Austrian artist based in Paris, France. With a distinctive practice merging painting and video, he often incorporates text and engages with space to create site-specific installations. Filled with humor, Timischl’s work is a commentary on power dynamics between social classes, often in relation to queerness, cultural codes, and the art world.
